Jen Bullitt IV
The game is set in the present day and is based in London and the capital cities of Europe. It mixes elements of several game genres, such as adventure, puzzle solving (point and click) and third person shooting. The game follows Jen Bullitt IV’s dual life as an MI6 agent and university student, living in the suburbs of North London, but studying and working within Central London.
The gameplay is split into two; her missions as an agent and her daily life and the lengths she goes to hide it from others. The game requires an online subscription as the missions are released as the game is launched by a player. The more successful a player is over time, the higher they rise within the service.
Mission Mode
Each mission has a very clear objective; to obtain intelligence, identify and rescue/assassinate people or to pick up/steal items critical to British intelligence. Jen Bullitt IV has to use a combination of physical skills and intelligence to achieve her objective. She works alone and if discovered or caught, she is disowned.
Daily Life Mode
In order for Jen Bullitt IV to carry out her duties as an agent, she has to live a normal and healthy life. The role of the player, when not in mission mode, is to monitor her everyday activities as one would a Tamagotchi pet. Via a smartphone, tablet or computer, the player keeps a god-like eye on the university student, making sure she eats properly, sleeps well, gets plenty of exercise and keeps up with her studies. All this has to be balanced with a social life. Failure to do this properly affects her performance on missions (less stamina, slower reaction time, confusion etc.).
